ETHICAL INVESTING

Investing by the principles of Islam and Sharia law

Pathway is committed to Islamic values and will only invest in Sharia-compliant funds that have been approved by the Sharia Advisory Board, which is led by scholars with extensive experience in Islamic finance (Fiqh Al Muamalat).

The fundamental principles for Sharia-compliant investments are to avoid interest-bearing and harmful institutions such as conventional banking and insurance, as well as alcohol, pork, gambling, adult entertainment, tobacco, and weapons. Aside from these tenets, our investment philosophy is to be transparent and to support social causes in order to improve financial and economic conditions in society, which affect individuals and institutions.

We are aware of our surroundings and have decided to prioritise well-being and sustainability; by being on the right side, we can make a difference. We will make every effort to avoid investing in assets that harm our environmental and social conditions.

WE THE TEAM

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
